Na-ra playfully walked upto the girl who was quite stunned by the sudden appearance of the girl out of nowhere.

The latter clearly flustered by the girl blinked numerous times, handling the situation too well.....

Finding hard not to chuckle and point out the girl's cute awkwardness towards her, Na-ra took a step towards the girl with a wide smile curling up on her lips

A sudden shout interrupted the girl as she turned on her heels to see

" Master Heo, what is it?... "

Na-ra asked to the old man who was smiling cheerly to the girl.

" I forgot to tell you!! Yun-ok will be coming soon, you two were so inseparable when you were young!! "

Master Heo chimed in the good news, thinking the girl would be ecstatic about hearing the news however the girl's smile she held until now dropped to the ground.

As if her blood sucked down from her face, a fragment of memory crawled up to the girl's eyes.

Her ears ringed with laughters of childrens , as the girl's eyes burned with the familiar feeling creeped up.

" ... Na-ra, are you okay?? ... "

Master Heo noticed the girl's sudden disorientation so , does the confused girl beside the two.

That being said the girl swiftly walked away from the two, making two of them confused by the girl's sudden actions.

The whole day Na-ra zoned out , walking through everywhere as her mind couldn't forge a path regardless only to end up in sejukwon again as the night fell.

She muttered to herself and as she was about to turn back , a hand pulled her wrist quickly turning her.

" Where were you??..... I... I looked everywhere... "

In front of Na-ra, seo-yul was panting, Breathing heavily while it took a couple of minutes to breath normally .

Silence was the only sound surrounded the two , he was still finding something desperately in her eyes for an answer or something.

Anything .

" Are you okay... "

It wasn't even a question at that point, the girl's eyes burned for some unknown reason finding hard to reply or respond anything back .

" I... Yul-ah... I .."

The girl trailed off her words as if it was the most difficult thing ever. Two of them never leaving each others gaze even for second , terrified they might lose their existence even for a second.

As if that was the words he wanted to hear , he pulled the girl's hands towards him gently as the girl leant all her burden on the boy , burying her whole face on the boy's chest as he wrapped his arms around her as if he was protecting her from something.

There wasn't even a voice nor tears, just them. Hearing their heartbeat clouded with the breathing for a while until Na-ra broke the silence .

" Can I tell you something?... "

" ..Mhm.. "

" Master Heo is watching us..."

The moment she whispered those words seo-yul freezed for a second , still not loosing the grip however Na-ra hastily stepped back clearing her throat while another stagger came from not so far from them revealing Master Heo looking everywhere except them as he knew he was caught.

" Oh my, yul-ah you haven't gone yet?? Oh! Na-ra, when did you came?? "

Master Heo as if he haven't seen the two held each other , chimed in while the other two just stood there with pink tint covering their faces.

" Ah- Master Heo- i.. I came here to see you... I well -"

Before the girl could finish her stuttering words the sapsali's bark echoed through their ears as wind quickly became stronger as it changed instantly.

Na-ra and Master Heo ran to outside alarmed look , while yul took a sweet second to snap out from the daze , following them .

" Is that the alchemy of souls?... "

Master Heo whispered loud enough the two could hear as he pointed to the sky as the other two stared at the terrifyingly beautiful red sky , it looked like a volcanic irruption on the dark night sky.

And as if on cue the girl's eyes suddenly felt heavy for some reason and next second she knew the pitch black overcame her vision as she fell on to the boy's hands.

" Na-ra! Na-"

Na-ra cursed under her breath feeling frustrated by seeing the pitch black space surrounding her however this time she felt the ground was uncomfortably wet.
